The Nagarik App (नागरिक एप) is the Government of Nepal's official mobile app that brings government services and personal documents into one place — from PAN and National ID to insurance, CIT, EPF and more. It is issued by the Department of Information Technology.
Download only the official app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store (publisher: Government of Nepal). Avoid copycat apps.
How to Register
- Download the Nagarik App from the official app store.
- Create an account with your mobile number and set a secure password.
- Verify your identity using your citizenship details (and other verification the app requests).
- Set your MPIN for secure login.
- Log in and start linking your documents and services.
What You Can Do
- View and access documents like PAN, National ID, driving licence, insurance where integrated.
- Check records such as CIT, EPF / Provident Fund and Social Security where linked.
- Access a growing list of government services digitally, reducing office visits.
💡 Keep your citizenship, PAN and other details consistent across services so they link correctly inside the app. Never share your password or MPIN with anyone.
Trouble Registering?
If verification fails, check that the details you enter match your official documents exactly (spelling, dates, numbers). Consistent data is the most common fix for registration problems.
