SEE & NEB Results — Check, Grade Increase & Re-totaling
How to check your SEE or NEB result, what the GPA grades mean, and your options if you want to improve a grade.
SEE र NEB (कक्षा ११/१२) को नतिजा हेर्ने, ग्रेड वृद्धि र पुनर्योग गर्ने तरिका।
School and higher-secondary results in Nepal use a GPA / letter-grade system. SEE (class 10) results come from the National Examinations Board, and class 11 & 12 (NEB) results also come from the National Examinations Board (neb.gov.np).
How to Check Your Result
- Official websites — neb.gov.np and the SEE result portal.
- SMS / IVR services published at result time by the board and telecom operators.
- Result apps and news portals that mirror the official result during heavy traffic.
Tip: On result day, official sites are often overloaded. SMS/IVR and mirror portals can be faster — but always confirm your final GPA on the official NEB source.
Understanding the Grades
Results are shown as a GPA with letter grades (A+, A, B+, and so on) for each subject and an overall GPA. Your grade sheet lists subject-wise grades and the final GPA used for admissions.
Grade Increase Exam
If you are not satisfied with certain subject grades, the board conducts grade increase (ग्रेड वृद्धि) exams that let you re-sit specific subjects to improve your grade. Check the board notice for the eligible subjects, schedule and application process.
Re-totaling / Rechecking
If you believe your marks were added wrong, you can apply for re-totaling within the deadline stated in the result notice. This rechecks the totaling of your answer sheet.
✅ Note the deadlines — both grade-increase applications and re-totaling requests have short windows after results are published.
