गाडी/बाइकको कर (ट्याक्स) कति हो र अनलाइन कसरी जाँच्ने र तिर्ने।
Every vehicle owner in Nepal pays annual road tax (vehicle tax) along with bluebook renewal. The rate depends on your vehicle type and engine capacity (CC), and is set by your province, so amounts vary across the country.
Two things to check: your tax rate (based on vehicle type + CC + province) and your due amount (tax + any insurance renewal + late fees if overdue).
How Vehicle Tax Is Calculated
- Two-wheelers (bikes/scooters): charged by engine CC bands — higher CC, higher tax.
- Four-wheelers (cars/jeeps): higher rates, also by CC bands.
- Province sets the rates — check your provincial transport office schedule for the exact figure.
How to Check & Pay Online
- Open a mobile wallet (eSewa, Khalti, IME Pay) or your bank app, or your province online vehicle-tax system where available.
- Go to the vehicle tax section and select your transport office/zone.
- Enter your vehicle/bluebook details to see the tax and any dues.
- Renew insurance first if it has expired (usually required before tax), then pay and save the receipt.
⚠️ Pay before the deadline — late vehicle tax adds a penalty that grows over time. Keep the receipt and updated bluebook in your vehicle.
