निर्वाचन आयोगमा मतदाता नामावलीमा दर्ता हुने प्रक्रिया र आफ्नो नाम जाँच्ने तरिका।
To vote in Nepal you must be registered in the voter list (मतदाता नामावली) maintained by the Election Commission of Nepal (ECN / election.gov.np). Registration is biometric and tied to your citizenship.
Eligibility: Nepali citizens aged 18 and above can register. You register in the location where you ordinarily reside.
Documents Required
- Citizenship certificate (original + copy).
- Your correct address / ward details.
How to Register
- Visit the voter registration point — your local election office, DAO, or a registration camp.
- Fill the registration form with your citizenship and address details.
- Give biometrics — photo and fingerprints are captured.
- Confirmation — your details are added to the voter list for your constituency.
Check Your Name in the Voter List
The Election Commission provides an online voter-name search on election.gov.np. Enter your details to confirm you are registered and see your polling location before an election.
✅ Check your voter registration well before election day — if your name is missing or your details are wrong, you can correct them during the registration/update window.
