Editorial & Accuracy Standards
Many of our guides cover money, jobs and official documents — decisions that really matter. Here is how SahAI researches, sources, reviews and corrects its information so you can trust what you read.
1. We are independent
SahAI is a privately run, independent website. We are not a government body and are not affiliated with the Department of Foreign Employment (DOFE), any embassy, ministry, manpower agency, bank or remittance company. When an action must happen on an official system, we send you to that official government portal — we never pretend to be it.
2. Where our information comes from
We build our guides from primary, official sources wherever possible, including:
- Nepali government departments and their official portals (e.g. Department of Foreign Employment, Department of Passports, Nepal Police, Inland Revenue Department, Election Commission, Nepal Rastra Bank).
- Official acts, rules, notices and published fee schedules.
- Recognised official helplines and service centres.
Every guide links you to the relevant official source so you can verify the actual process and current fees yourself.
3. How we write
- Plain language, two languages. We explain processes simply in English and Nepali, without jargon.
- Process over promises. We describe official steps; we never guarantee approvals, selection or outcomes.
- Clear disclaimers. Where rules change often or amounts vary (fees, wages, exchange rates), we say the figures are approximate and point to the authoritative source.
4. Dating and updates
Guides show a "last updated" date. We review our most-used pages regularly and after major rule changes. Because government processes, fees and portals do change, always confirm the current details on the official source before you act.
5. Corrections policy
If we get something wrong, we want to fix it fast. If you spot an error, an out-of-date fee, or a broken official link, please tell us the page and the problem via our contact page or at support@sahainp.com. We review reports promptly and update the guide.
6. Our tools and your data
Our "check" tools (such as the shram swikriti, GAMCA medical and visa checkers) do not collect or transmit your passport number or personal details. They open the official government portal so you enter your information there, on the secure government site. See our Privacy Policy for more.
⚠️ Not professional advice. SahAI provides general information and helper tools only. It is not legal, financial, medical or immigration advice. For decisions that affect your money, health or legal status, verify on the official source and consult a qualified professional.
7. How we're funded
SahAI is free to use. Where we run advertising or optional paid features, they are kept separate from our guidance — they never change the facts we publish or which official source we recommend.
