1. Check via the Nagarik App
The Government of Nepal Nagarik App is the main digital place where your National ID details appear once your record is linked.
- Install and register on the official Nagarik App using your citizenship and mobile number.
- Verify your identity and set your MPIN.
- Open the National ID / Rastriya Parichaya Patra section to view your details where available.
2. Check Your Enrolment Receipt
When you registered for the Rastriya Parichaya Patra and gave biometrics, you received an acknowledgement/enrolment slip. Your registration reference is recorded there — keep it safe, as it is your proof of enrolment.
3. Ask Your District Administration Office (DAO)
Because the number is tied to your biometric record, the DAO / DoNIDCR can confirm your registration status and number in person after verifying your identity. This is the authoritative source if the app does not yet show your data.
