🇶🇦 Qatar
Qatar has a legal minimum basic wage plus mandated allowances for food and housing if the employer doesn't provide them. Unskilled workers usually start near the minimum; skilled trades, drivers and security roles pay more.
🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia does not set a universal minimum wage for foreign workers, so pay depends heavily on the employer and sector. Confirm the exact figure in your contract — construction, factory and service wages vary widely.
🇦🇪 UAE
The UAE has no fixed statutory minimum wage for private-sector workers; pay is set by contract. Dubai and Abu Dhabi have many roles across construction, hospitality, security and logistics.
🇰🇼 Kuwait · 🇴🇲 Oman · 🇧🇭 Bahrain
These smaller Gulf states have their own rules; some set a private-sector minimum, others leave it to contract. Accommodation and transport are commonly provided or allowanced.
🇲🇾 Malaysia

🇰🇷 South Korea (EPS)

What Actually Affects Your Take-Home Pay
- Basic vs total: the headline "basic" is often topped up by food, housing, transport allowances and overtime — ask for the full breakdown.
- Deductions: some contracts deduct for accommodation, food, levy or insurance. Net cash matters more than the basic figure.
- Skill level: skilled trades, drivers, technicians and supervisors earn well above unskilled rates.
- Overtime: legal overtime can meaningfully raise monthly income in many jobs.
